Real Madrid vs. Villareal

What a Game... Nonetheless... it was simply Brilliant... Cristiano Ronaldo The most expensive player in soccer's history; 80 million Euros, ($132 million dollars). Scored the first goal for Real Madrid within minutes, picture this; the referee blows the whistle to initiate the game, a minute and 47 seconds go by and GOOOOALLLLL!!!! from Cristiano Ronaldo (CR9) not even two minutes have pass by and Real Madrid is up... 1 - 0

Cristiano Ronaldo can now write his name down in the Real Madrid record book, he is now the first Real Madrid player to score four goals in four games. This is the type of work that got him el Balon de Oro,and I wouldn't be surprise if he got it again this season.

However, Ronaldo wasn't the only player to score against Villareal, Kaka scored midway through the second half. Kaka takes
the penalty, launching the ball at the right side of the net and GOOOALLLL... the score is now 2-0.

Villareal was no match for Real Madrid and with the way things are going the only team that looks like they might have a chance against Real Madrid in the Champions is Barcelona. Its going to be Ronaldo vs. Ibrahimovic two players with high ambition to place the ball in the nets, two players that share many similarities such as there both the highest paid soccer players, they both play for the biggest teams that are the most demanding and ambitious clubs recognized anywhere in the planet, they both are the top seller of jersey for their clubs. The similarities go on and on but in Nov. only one will come out a winner, in the mean time...

Real Madrid vs. Zurich

What A Game!!! Real Madrid has shown to be more than just a star team. Cristiano Ronaldo is proving to be worthy of those 130 million dollars.

The first goal by Cristiano Ronaldo initiated the beginning of what would be come a great game. What a kick, Cristiano Ronaldo has been known since Manchester United to deliver great direct kicks into the net. As Zurich battled to get back in the game, Real Madrid made sure that they stayed on top. Guti finalized the game with and *AMAZING* goal... Although Cristiano Ronaldo was open and Guti could have set him up for the goal. Guti made a Genius move and launch the ball right above the goalies head and set the score 5-2.

This for sure wasn't Zurich goalie Johnny Leoni best game. Specially after that awful mistake that he did on the fourth goal. His reaction was simply a beginners goalie reaction. The logical thing to do was punch the ball out or simply catch it, Zurich might just need a new goalie. However, not all the heat falls under Zurich goalie, Where was the coach in all this? Why couldn't the coach substitute the goalie? What a bad call from the coach, clearly Johnny Leoni (goalie) coast the team (Zurich) a couple of goals.

Real Madrid, who has started this season and the Champions League very well, winning against La Coruña 3-2, Espayol 3-0, and now against Zurich 5-2. There next game will be against Zerex this Sunday September 20 and should be a good one. The game that everybody awaits is Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, two teams that hold some of the best soccer sensations of this time.

WORLD CUP 2010 Groups and Standings

The top AFC, CAF, Concacaf, Conmebol, OFC, and UEFA teams of every table qualify for the FIFA World Cup™. The 4th or 5th placed team enters a Home-and-Away Playoff with the 3rd or 4th placed team to try to qualify...

Every year the World-Cup is filled with excitement; everybody looks forward to the common rivalry's between the best teams that hold the best player in the world. However, this year it might be a bit different if Portugal, Argentina, France, and Uruguay don't qualify. How I ask myself... Is it possible for the teams with the best players in the world not to qualify??? Who's not doing there job right? Is it the players? Or the coach? Or maybe it's both?

Messi the best player in the world, can not lead Argentina to victory and is border-line of not qualifying. Cristiano Ronaldo 2008 best player struggles to lead Portugal into the World Cup. What is missing from these great teams and great players?

Nonetheless, the excitement for the 2010 World Cup is still there, seeing this commercial for the 2010 World Cup makes one wonder if the top teams don't make it, will the underdogs rise? Although, theres one team that never can be counted out Brazil...

Puebla vs. Chivas (Jornada 7)

With only seconds left in the clock and the score 2-1 the ref calls a direct kick in favor of las Chivas and Goooal... Im not sure what game the ref was watching, but it must not have been Puebla vs. Chivas. Which is why I give the ref a red card, horrible calls, marking fouls that never existed, costing Puebla the game.

Going into the Jornada 7, Puebla is the only team unbeaten, while Chivas in the other hand has only won one game. Within the first seven minutes of the game defender Alejandro Acosta scores the opening goal and gives Puebla the lead 1-0, soon after Chivas responds back as Omar Bravo changes the score to 1-1. The refs calls were obscured and ridiculous, making it impossible for Puebla. Later on in the first half Borgeti scores for Puebla and the score is now 2-1.

In the second half the ref calls a foul against Puebla right outside the goalies box. What was he thinking??? there was NO contact what so ever, that foul never existed. What kind of ref makes a call like that, who does that??? really??? However, Chivas takes the direct kick the balls stumbles as Pueblas goalie Villalpando tries to take it out, the ball lands in Mario Luna Saucedo's feet, Saucedo kicks it in and Goal.

Puebla was seconds away from taking home those 3 points, but thanks to the refs lousy calls Puebla takes home One point The altercations after the game are due the refs bad judgement of what he considers a foul or not. The game ended with a very sour 2-2

Argentina vs. Brazil

This weekend one of the most anticipated games for the World Cup 2010 qualifications will be played in Argentina. This Saturday September 5th Argentina vs. Brazil, that is Maradona vs. Dunga, Lionel Messi vs. Robihno, Maxi Rodriguez vs. kaka, Zanetti vs. Lucio, the list of great players goes on and on. This time around the pressure falls on Argentina, they are in desperate need of those 3 points to qualify for South Africa 2010 World Cup. Falling in 4th place with 22points Argentina must win to gain 3 points and raise above Paraguay who holds 24 points, and Chile with 26 points.

However, Brazil falls in the complete opposite situation that Argentina is in. Brazil leads the tables with 27 points. The game is expected to be nothing less than breathtaking. Having both Messi and Kaka play in the same field and against each other, it's going to be a day full of fireworks.
